Hi, I'm new on here. Thought I'd join up as I'm Keiron's Dad's cousin and it would give me the opportunity to plug my latest band - Virtual Queen. Our main site went live today - www.virtualqueenproject.com and you can also access us through www.myspace.com/virtualqueenproject and our message board at virtualqueen.proboards79.comI won't go into detail as it's all on the site, but this is an internet based band where we record tracks by e-mail. The first two songs are available as promo edits on MySpace and the next we are working on will feature Keiron on drums - watch this space!

Now the first song is available for pre-order - Check out We Will Rock You on www.virtualqueenproject.com and follow the links to the download shop. It costs 77p and after the small charge for the download shop has been taken out, all other proceeds are being donated to the Mercury Phoenix Trust for AIDS research. Currently, based on pre-orders alone, we are at number 5 in the Indiestore charts, several places above Rolf Harris - we want to get to number 1, so please help us out and do your bit for AIDS research!

Virtual Queen is proud to announce the release of their first two songs, original versions of the Queen classics We Will Rock You and Tie Your Mother Down. The songs are available to buy from www.indiestore.com/virtualqueenproject priced £0.77 each. All proceeds from the downloads go to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the charity set up after Freddie Mercury's death by the remaining members of Queen to help in the global fight against HIV/AIDS. Please take a few moments to go and listen to the songs, and, if you like them, buy them! For more information about the Virtual Queen Project, visit our website at www.virtualqueenproject.com and see the article at www.queenworld.com
